I’m the reason 99% of people fail online

by Danny

The other day I  linked to a great article in my news section that  I wanted to share with you about buying aged domains. The article was a cracker! You should read it if you haven’t already.

In my post headline I somehow manged to write “How to index an aged domain fast!” – agreed, that is up there with as stupid a headline as it gets. I was looking for a catchy “buying aged domain” headline and it was a balls up!

I received the arse kicking comment that you see below, of course from an anonymous source, but they share some great “advise” as they but it, in between tearing me a new one.

“stupid post, an aged domain is the index by definition.
If you need to get it indexed its not “aged”
The SEO bias on an aged domain comes from a site earning trust and authority over a period of time.
Parked domains and deindexed domains have no inherent SEO value because they are older that a newly minted one.
I love the fact that people like you hand out “advise” about these sorts of things when you have NO IDEA ! Its the very reason that 99% of people make little to no money online”

Agreed, but a bad headline from a drummer selling websites is not the reason 99% of people fail online, it’s the fact that only 1% of people actually do the work required to succeed that the 99% make little to no money.

I’m off to brush up on my SEO skills. Talk to you soon.

Nice response to a comment, it is easy to say thank you to feedback when it says how great you are, it takes a bit more to put it out there when someone disagrees with you.

PS I think you are right about the aged domains being indexed.

Thanks Enzo.

My “friend” obviously feels strongly about it and he know his stuff.

You’ve got to love that!
